Ellen is a degreed interior design professional with over 25 years in the industry.
 

As Owner and Principal Designer for Anna’s Drapery and Design, Ellen has advanced its legacy of elegant, practical drapery treatments and has expanded their services to include all aspects of interior design. Anna’s Drapery has served the Metro-Detroit area and its surrounding communities for over 35 years. 

With her direction, Anna’s Drapery and Design will encompass classically based interiors for modern living – and extend their product and service offerings. 

Ellen is known for high-end, thoughtful interior design, stunning window treatments, new construction expertise, and custom furniture fabrication. Focusing on residential design, vacation properties, and small commercial projects. Anna’s Drapery and Design houses an on-site workroom with over 60 years of combined fabrication experience.
 

Ellen’s projects have appeared in both local and national publications and have been featured on HGTV and DIY networks.  She is an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers.

Lynn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising from Wayne State University, where she developed a strong foundation in textiles, aesthetics, and consumer experience.

 Her passion for design began even earlier, growing up in a family that owned and operated a full‑service construction business. Being surrounded by renovation projects, materials, and hands‑on craftsmanship shaped her appreciation for how thoughtful design can transform the way people live. She believes that great design should be accessible, functional, and deeply personal, and she approaches every project with that philosophy at the forefront.

In her work, Lynn collaborates closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle. She guides them through the design process, from initial consultation to final installation. Ensuring that each space is not only aesthetically beautiful but also comfortable, practical, and reflective of the client’s vision. 

Whether coordinating custom drapery, managing timelines, or helping clients select finishes and fabrics, Lynn is committed to creating environments that feel welcoming, polished, and uniquely yours.

Her work experience amplified her passion for fabric, fashion and design so she attended The Fashion Institute of America (FIA), where she excelled as a top student and one of the few chosen to represent her college in Washington, DC for Hills Skills Day.

As our Workroom Liaison she is responsible for translating design into reality. She reviews every measurement, fabric selection, lining choice, and hardware specification to ensure the workroom receives a complete and accurate picture of your project. Her communication keeps everyone aligned — designers, seamstresses, installers, and clients — so your window treatments move through production smoothly and without surprises. Custom window treatments are a blend of artistry and engineering. They require exact measurements, thoughtful design, and meticulous fabrication. Elena ensures that every step honors the craftsmanship you deserve.
